California State University, Sacramento offers a friendly, welcoming atmosphere where excellence is the standard, diversity is celebrated and students come first. The campus is located in the state’s capital city, adjacent to the historic American River.
We’re particularly proud of our beautiful 300-acre campus, with its lush landscaping and 3,000 trees. Miles of trails stretch along the nearby American River Parkway, linking our campus and student housing with recreational areas such as Folsom Lake and Old Sacramento.
Sacramento is one of the state’s most affordable big cities, and is booming with dozens of stylish restaurants, galleries and boutiques within minutes of campus. The region’s parks, rivers and nearby recreation areas make it popular with outdoor enthusiasts. Within easy driving distance are San Francisco, the Napa and Sonoma valleys, Gold Country and Lake Tahoe. |
