CSU Chico

The Student Employment Office offers a listing of on-campus as well as off-campus employment opportunities. Enrolled students work a variety of campus jobs ranging from clerical to custodial. Most jobs available in the community are service-related, and there is moderate competition for those jobs.

Cal Maritime

Student jobs are available in various departments on campus. Some of our students work at the San Francisco/Vallejo fairy or at local tug and barge companies. There are a number of World Famous restaurants in the San Francisco Bay area that employ our students part-time and on the weekends. Our Career Development department is very active in seeking and placing our students in career and part-time positions.

Cal Poly San Luis Obispo

Various campus departments have positions for student assistants. There are also employment opportunities available in San Luis Obispo and the surrounding area in the many restaurants, hotels, and other local businesses. Part-time jobs are available in most fields; internship; work-study.

CSU Fresno

The university offers hundreds of on- and off-campus job opportunities to students. The career Development and Employment Services, through its Jobsline program, offers students 24-hour computerized telephone access to job listings.

CSU Fullerton

Cal State Fullerton offers students numerous and varied opportunities for on-campus employment. Most Cal State Fullerton students work, and several thousand of them work on campus in almost every office, department, and activity of the university.

Humboldt State University

Humboldt's Student Employment Office assists students in finding jobs both on- and off-campus. Jobs in the community include food service, gardening, bookkeeping, recreation, retail, tutoring, and child and eldercare. On campus, there are many positions in labs, department offices, and the dining halls. Federal and state work-study jobs are available for those eligible through financial aid. Counseling and on-line job search services are available.

CSU Los Angeles

Many of Cal State LA students work, either on-campus or off-campus during the school year. Every imaginable type of job is available in the vicinity of the campus and our Career Center will provide assistance in seeking employment.

CSU Monterey Bay

CSUMB has always relied heavily on student employment to keep things running. On-campus jobs range from reception-desk duties to multimedia production to campus security. Because tourism is a major economic force in the region, students often find jobs in the hospitality, food, and retail industries off campus. The CSUMB Career Development Office maintains on-campus and off-campus job listings both in hard copy and online, sponsors career development workshops and events, and hosts career and graduate fairs. San Diego State University

On and off campus employment opportunities in SDSU's community are excellent. The Career Services office works in cooperation with SDSU academic and non-academic departments to place students in on-campus positions. Experienced staff members are available to assist students in finding on-campus positions that are in line with their career aspirations. Career Services will also assist students in finding off-campus jobs and internships. SDSU has relationships with numerous companies in the San Diego area, and students may find positions to augment their education.
